Inappropriate Southern Hospitality

When I was a younger, this show came on television and the one thing that grabbed my attention was these ‘good ol’ boys' with sexy cars, up to no good.

If you enjoy stories with a southern hospitality twist and a bit of naughty fun Unwelcomed Greeting by Savannah Maris has a tale to tell you.  The characters in the story include Mitchell Riverton. He reminds me of a TV version of Bo… if I say any more I am sure you will know but anyway.

Mitchell is in love with Makayla ‘Mak’ Gregory and will protect her at any cost.

If you like a man to take charge Mitchell is the perfect fit for your next book boyfriend!

Mak is in love with Mitchell but left their hometown five years ago to explore her life.  All that changed the day she got a phone call to return to her parents because of crooks in town attempting to force them off their land. But, when Mak comes to town and reconnects with the love of her life… these bullies are in for a surprise.

Mitchell and his brother Evan find themselves in an escapade with the town’s nemesis.  By the way,
Evan makes me think of a guy from a show that went by the name Luke. What can I say: these are the images that pop up in my head as I read of people coming to corrupt this small town.

It’s doesn’t take long to get into the love story because the chemistry upon these two are undeniable. Which caused me to recall my son asking me if high school sweethearts can still fall in love and get married?

Well let’s say if he wasn’t so young, I'd suggest him reading this book because it’s a beautiful fairy tale people are still falling for. Of course, he needs to be at least 18 years old in my house to read this book. Why do you ask? BAAAAAABY the sex scenes in this novel, will have you purring between the legs.  I’m just saying this work of fiction defiantly flares stimulating feelings.

One of my favorite scenes includes strawberries, handcuffs and blind folds… I am sure you get the picture.

Anyway… the great news is the steamy fun continues in the next book Unfinished Business. Perhaps, you can come back to read my thoughts of that story. Until then, check out more in one click below!

Pipe Dreams of a Stupid Chick

Don’t be so quick to judge because you might be the thirsty chick reading this. So, what exactly is a thirsty chick? You know the desperate woman with no sight to morals, lost perception, emotionally unbalanced and confused as to what love is and what love is not. Typically, a thirsty chick's mind plays tricks on her, as to what life is. The only result for such chick all ends in reckless decisions. In the novel Sometimes Love Just Ain’t Enough Celine fits the perfect description… but somehow you can’t help but feel sorry for her. Damn… damn… damn.

How can you determine if a chick is thirsty?

She’s available… leaving no room for the chase:

It seems as if thirsty for a man is an understatement for Celine. The opening of the story grabs the reader by learning Louis bumps off people when things don’t go his way.

Yes, I said it right he is a murderer; keep  following because this is exactly what the nuisance Celine does to stand by her man. She thinks…'He came to me and asked me to follow him for a new start in life.’

Did the fact that he is wanted by the police just fly over your head? No, he does not love you… this dude has gone through all of his choices and you are the last one willing to remain available for his bullshit.

She follows him… her priorities are beyond from being out of whack. I promise you while you are over there judging Celine, you can think of a chick that defends her man no matter what.

You would think because of how furious I became with Celine for following this dude I would shut the book… but nope. I continued reading because now, 'I am hooked.'  I am in a sunken place and I am yelling at the author because if she takes me on one more turn...It's On. Trust me there are more turns for every way, in this page turner.

She drops her standards… to have not a good man, but any man:

Back to the story… How does she neglect the fact 'Louis is a murderer?' Does the thought cross Celine's mind or is it safe to say she is stupid in love with a guy that is on the run? Maybe we can just post a stamp on her forehead, this girl is STUPID. But let’s face it, more than likely this type of chic cannot tell you her standards for a man… let alone standards for herself. I know, you know someone like this… don’t trip.

She doesn’t know who she is, so she keeps looking for a dude to validate her.

Remember the female you told she was so pretty and you have no clue, 'why she keeps putting up with her dude.' If you take a look at this girl Celine… you will understand that the female you are talking to has a brain and nothing is working at the moment. In the story, Celine’s complete logic is
missing.

Did the fact that he is wanted by the police just fly over her head?In her brain, she believes she holds the power because she knows what he has done. She helps him escape with the understanding that she is in charge.  Wait what the…

I should really stop reading; I promise you I don’t like stupid chicks. But I didn’t stop...I want a better result for Celine. I want her ass to wake up…but she only wakes up to keep following this dude. By the way, I can’t stand her dude. He is a murderer and he treats Celine like shit. As I hard blink reading this toxic love story…yes I continued to read. While ranting in my head at the author hoping there is a twist for her as to ‘Wake Up.’ OMG, this chick stayed faithfully stupid throughout the story and I became the author’s thirsty reader.

I hate myself for it, but I have to admit…I wanted something steamy. Instead, it was a dangerous ride with twists and turns that hooked me, I could not resist. A Whimsical Escape 'Under Winter Lights’ by Bree Lewandowski Review

If you are seeking a story to read and nestle under the cover and lay upon a fire…forget ‘Under Winter Lights.’

I mean if you had plans to kick back and escape life as you know it, head to Chicago to face the cold breeze upon your face while soaking into the world revolving around a ballet dancer, totally digress from the thought of reading this book by Bree Lewandowski.

The inauguration of this story begins with a young lady determined to be a dancer. Her entire life centers on her career that she has worked tremendously hard to attain as a ballet dancer. The imagery of this book is classic. The author captured the scenery and movement of the characters in a whimsical manner.

Walking with the character as the wind whisked around her face, made me  brisk in the intense cold air along the journey of Martina. In my imagination of course...It's August in Georgia for me, there is nothing cold around these parts at this time.

Another favorite aspect... The moment she gets the news she’s been waiting to hear regarding her audition, reminded me of a start stun person.

The details outlined to take in the depths of the characters thoughts, movements and surrounding was the art of brush strokes in print formation.

The love story between Martina and Maraav is hidden a bit by the highlights of Martina. However, the development of the characters set you up for a fascinating tale. Which I hope to discover more in the sequel 'Under Midnight Lights.'

I have to admit I did get a bit protective of Martina as she came face to face with the director Alan Jung. I might have mentally strangled him a few times but it was perfect for my imagination because of how the story unfolds…yeah you have to read it for yourself.

Just note...this story reminds you life itself is a test...how well you do is up to you!

What…did you really expect me to give you all the details? Be sure to plan a date of relaxing under the fire by the moon light to read ‘Under Winter Lights.’ It's a magical escape!

Is He Ready...For A Woman Like Me? Book Review Irreplaceable Ava L.Woods

I saw this post by this lady and she was celebrating finding new love but then maybe six or eight months later all things went south. Many relationships start and finish in a flash. I carried on and decided I'd start a new book. Yes, I love to read!!!
By chance, I came across this story by Ava Lynn Wood. It made me think of one of my favorite shows, Sweet Home Alabama. Although the story line is different, it had a sweet magical touch of love as Sweet Home Alabama in my opinion.

This story starts of with a young lady that's experienced her first heartache which devastated  early in life. She leaves home or what one might say 'the familiar' to start new.  Only when she get's up to go she walks in to more heartache. It only took her eight years of marriage to discover the pain that involves a chick her husband hired. Positioning her to be" reduced to strangers sharing a home." Yeah, I'm pretty sure you can imagine but you can read the book 'Irreplaceable' for more details.

Let's just say..."When your husband tells you he hired the new chick because he was trying something new" take heed to what the so called 'new' level is.
Perhaps, this sounds like some preparation to explore new ground...I'm just saying. But you tell me, is it cheating if plans are just made to cheat? Typically, once you discover the lie...you start storing your own secrets. However, in this story, Anna left town with a secret.

Immediately, I knew the secret Anna was withholding from Will. It just made sense, but it was one of those things like I know, I know the answer but I am going to keep reading to confirm what I know is correct (if that makes any sense).

One of my favorite lines, “I tried to bottle you.” This captured his longing for her on a deep level and it was one of the most romantic lines I’d read in a while. I read it several times as my heart caved in at the words.
It was nice to see a man long for a woman the way that he longed for her. I appreciated reading and imagining that aspect.

My Dislikes: Many women believe they are not a success, and wish they had a relationship. Having this state of mind typically ends up in more drama. In the story, I disliked that Anna was apologizing often. I wished she did not think of herself as a failure; nonetheless, I could actually understand the role of her not feeling accomplished. Which is how she ran straight to more drama…she packaged her heartache without resolving it. Of course, Anna (like so many women) thought she was headed to safety. But unfortunately, not unpacking a broken heart will make you lose a sense of power and sense of accomplishment.

What if ?: Running away should not be our first game plan. If, we know we have feelings for someone and it doesn't work out why do we want to leave first? Sometimes we really don't need to be in a relationship. Why? Neither one of you are mature for the demands put on the relationship.

Let's be blunt, sometimes a guy is not going to know how to appreciate you. Plus, his brain is still developing. Let's be serious a child's brain takes 25 years to fully develop.  Not all people understand this. That's why at 38 he seems like a different guy...He is...his brain is more developed. In the story, Anna got back in touch with a  person from her past.

They both had to grow up to be ready for the woman/man they grew to be.   I enjoyed the story line of the story which is very important to me as a reader. Experiencing their sex encounters was a plus. I was most captured with the story line and creative approach of grabbing family life in the midst of a relationship. Awesome story and great read!

Escaping In My Mind

Sometimes the summer causes us to want to scream! The heat alone can make you want to stay inside, depending on what part of the world you live in.

Many things happen right before summer approaches. Family members graduate from one level in life to the next. In my recently released novel, my character Jasmine is graduating and the one thing she is stressed about is the desire to see her family that she can't rely on to be supportive. Isn't that how life goes? You work hard and you still hope to have someone cheering for you in your corner or any corner.

Summer can be dreadful depending on what part of the stick you are on. End of school term celebrations, end of work quarter reviews, family reunion, class reunions, holidays, and birthdays...all come piling down at once. There's family you have to prepare your mind to see, there are vacations you plan to take and those you dread to take. There are co-workers you have to play nice with, while wishing that maybe someone will call you out of the meeting. After the few months pass you reflect and say "What the hell just happened?"

Instead of waiting until the end of the summer to reflect, consider planning time for you. Four escapes that will help you have peace of mind have to be on your list of things for you!

Meditate: Be a best friend to yourself. Go to a spa, pamper yourself with a manicure and pedicure. Think of positive words of affirmation, as you let your mind escape the normal day to day activities.

Create: Grab your arts, crafts and wine! Sketch, paint or draw a canvas using the colors that reflect inspiration!

Read: Escape by reading a book you bought to help you challenge that issue you are dealing with. Or read the new installment from the Chance series "Not By Chance" to help inspire you and help you escape a world of bliss!

Nature: Sit with nature. Go hiking on a trail and let yourself free as nature speaks to you.

Remember its summer and even you deserve to escape the day to day! Plan for you today!

How to Give Mind Blowing Fellatio for Him?

I’m contemplating if I will place his cock in my mouth?

Have you ever found yourself in such predicament? Sex is to be enjoyed; great sex involves both people being excited!  I have met many women whom expressed they give blow jobs as if it is something to do with the passing of time. In return, those same women tell me their guy strayed.

I ask does he not give you pleasurable cunnilingus?

“Absolutely, yes” they respond!

Yet, some women correlate the act of giving pleasure, as demeaning.

Then there are women that view it as an art of love making. Remember, great sex requires two excited participants. The receiver and giver should to agree to be in a state of ecstasy together.

In my novel, Jasmine Chance asks herself if she should give Drew Rodd an unforgettable experience of pleasure. After he wooed her, Jasmine was inspired to give something in return to him.

Are you a selfish lover? Do you give just as much as you receive? It’s easy to receive but giving is not only pleasurable, it holds so much power.

When Jasmine decided to give to Drew, she was empowering herself by taking control of giving pleasure. In addition, she reminded him of the power he has. My character, Drew as many men is an alpha guy.

He thrives off of power and the moment Jasmine's body drops, to meet his shaft, up close and personal he is reminded he is king of the jungle.

What am I saying? Being a giver to pleasure includes so much psychology. A woman needs to be empowered as she graces her day and a man needs to be reminded he is powerful, in charge of his fate.

Some women neglect pleasing their guy and stray from giving with a happy heart.

Only a strong, confident person rebels at the experience to be a mouth-slave unto their mate.

While Jasmine comes to terms with giving to Drew, they both enjoy a hot night of pleasurable sex reciprocating pleasure to one another.  Remember a woman's inner power lies in her mind. Jasmine agreed with herself in her mind to satisfy Drew. Once she decided to enjoy pleasing him it became a great sex exchange.

Women hesitate daily to give pleasure to their lover, based on what others define, as a loss of respect.

However, one should remember, sex was not made only to multiply but it was designed to create many long heated nights of pleasure.

Would you pass a beautiful garden, neglecting to take in the beauty? Could you leave behind your favorite meal that pleases your pallet? Pleasure gives one a boost in life and inspires individuals to be excited.  Reconsider and take power in giving!

Focus on Me!

“I’m just going to focus on me!” How many times have I said this chant in my life?  If I got a cash advance each time I shouted that statement in high school being rich would be an understatement.

In J Bliss' upcoming book, Jasmine Chance is no stranger to battling relationships. Jasmine was getting ready to be married and found her fiancĂ© occupying him self with another female. She witnessed him in the act of fuc**** some woman, ain’t life a Bi***.

A broken heart can be as shattered glass, unable to repair.

It’s a living hell! People can actually die of a broken heart. Did you know they even have a name for it, Broken Heart Syndrome? That knowledge alone blows me away; knowing your heart muscles actually weaken due to the loss of a loved one is unbelievable. The good news is it doesn’t have to happen.

While Jasmine professed to focus on her, she was starting to build herself and never knew it. She was mentally being empowered as a woman. For a woman, her inner power lies in her mind. Jasmine’s focus became to learn to love her and expect more for her. Once those cookies crumbled at her approval, higher expectations from a man could be considered. Her friend, Victoria believed she lived in denial expecting failure if entering a new relationship.

Women break off relationships, it is not necessarily bad, what many women neglect is themselves in the process of moving on with their life. A woman’s inner power is in her mind. If a female only determines to empower herself mentally while disregarding the sexual aspect of being uplifted she is cheating herself. In other words; not having sex brings out the villain in a woman. Perhaps, I shouldn’t speak so frankly; however, if you have made it to this point, why should I mask now. Sex helps women just as it does a man. Jasmine will either learn this lesson or she will not, you keep checking back to find out!

The question is will you? Instead of wondering how I can satisfy him, consider asking yourself, “What can I do to satisfy me?”
